How to Access the Tignes – Val d’Isère Ski Area from Your Apartment in Tignes 1800

At the heart of Tignes 1800, don’t miss the moving Saint Jacques de Tarentaise Romanesque Church, a near-identical reconstruction of the church from the original Tignes village, which was flooded by the dam in 1952. If the doors are open, step inside to admire the baroque, carved, and polychrome altarpieces, saved from the flood by the villagers and reinstalled in the current church of Tignes 1800.
