A comprehensive energy-efficient renovation

 
Through the website Chalet-Hôtel Quartz, Altitude Résidences offers discerning vacationers who care about environmental conservation an ambitious eco-friendly renovation project. 
 
All that remains of the former Curling Hotel, built in the 1970s, are a few walls... to which 20 centimeters of insulation have been added, along with new floor-to-ceiling windows to ensure maximum thermal and acoustic comfort (double-pane windows on the south side, triple-pane windows on the north side). Even the foundations were reinforced to insulate the residence down to its very deepest corners. 
 
Altitude Résidences ’s commitment to sustainable tourism is also reflected in its interior design choices. Wood, stone sourced from an Italian quarry located two hours from Tignes, and wallpaper designed by Lauriane Miara, a talented illustrator based in Bourg-Saint-Maurice… The brand gives pride of place to high-quality materials and local talent.

The first highlight of theChalet —Hôtel Quartz —is its relaxation area, featuring a steam room, hot tub, and tea lounge under a south-facing glass roof, open to guests of the hotel residence from Sunday through Friday. 
 
A second service, perfect for a light snack: Altitude Résidences brings something new with the opening of the “Le Pain Quotidien ” bakery, accessible directly from the ground floor of the hotel residence. On the menu: artisanal breads, fresh pastries, and a variety of treats made with local ingredients, perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or an afternoon snack. Conveniently located, the bakery is also open to everyone via its second entrance on the Val Claret Tignes snowfront and even offers a click-and-collect service.
