Traveling in a residence with children (babies, young kids, teens…)

Heading to the mountains for your next family holiday? Here are a few essential criteria to keep in mind when staying in a residence with children (so everyone returns home rested and happy):

- Choose the right room configuration. Make sure your accommodation setup is conducive to restful sleep — for little ones and grown-ups! All our residences are perfectly sound- and heat-insulated, with layouts designed for everyone’s comfort: double rooms for parents, bunk beds for kids, and cozy travel cots for babies.

Opt for ski-in, ski-out access. Avoid long walks in ski boots (something children rarely enjoy). For example, Le Turquoise, our residence in Belle Plagne, is located right on the slope — you can clip in right at the door!

- Got water lovers in the family? After skiing, head to the pool! The one at Chalet Hôtel Cap Neige (Tignes Le Lac) is ideal — kids can splash and swim, while parents skip the hassle of public pool changing rooms and blow dryers (like those at Le Lagon).

- Bonus tip: Pick an accommodation that offers board games for family fun before bedtime! We provide a wide selection of games (for ages 4 and up) free of charge in all our residences: Uno, Trivial poursuite...

Traveling in a residence as a group (friends, family reunions…)

Finding accommodation for a large group can be a real challenge: one apartment might have enough beds but require someone to sleep in the hallway or living room; others may be suitable but located on opposite sides of the ski resort — making it tricky to gather for that big raclette dinner.

The smart solution: book a large, fully equipped apartment (our biggest ones can host up to 18 guests) or several smaller units within the same residence — so the kids only have to cross the hallway to meet their cousins for a board game night.

Contact our travel advisors and tell them about your group (how many guests, couples, children, solo travelers, etc.). They’ll get back to you with several tailored options for a residence stay with everyone you love.

Traveling in a Residence with a Spa (jacuzzi, sauna, steam room)

What could be more blissful than sinking into the warmth of a sauna or steam room after a day in the snow? Perhaps soaking in a jacuzzi… That’s why nearly all our residences feature a wellness area, just an elevator ride away from your apartment.

Discover the spas at Le Quartz (Tignes Val Claret), Le Yéti (Tignes Le Lac), Le Cap Neige (Tignes Le Lac), and Le Turquoise (Belle Plagne).

Premium residence stays: luxury within reach

Ski resort residences sometimes have a bad reputation — dated, poorly insulated, cramped, uncomfortable… Fortunately, none of these apply to our properties.
All our locations are either newly built or completely renovated from the ground up. Their refined, elegant decor highlights traditional materials like wood and stone, without sacrificing modernity or comfort.

Furniture is custom-made in Italy — from sofas to headboards to fully equipped kitchens. Wallpapers are designed by an artist from Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Linvosges linens complete the experience.

To enjoy these premium details at the best price, book smartly! Travel outside peak season — before Christmas holidays, in January, spring, summer, or autumn. Subscribe to our newsletter to get first access to exclusive offers.

What to pack for a residence stay

One of the perks of traveling in a residence? You won’t risk a tendon injury from an overpacked suitcase!
Beds are made upon arrival (with soft Linvosges sheets), fresh towels await in the bathroom alongside shower gel and shampoo, and a cleaning kit is provided in the kitchen.

Thanks to our partner discounts, you can also forget about buying or hauling ski gear — the latest equipment from top brands awaits you in nearby shops.
Guests staying at Le Quartz (Tignes Val Claret) can even leave breakfast off their to-do list: every morning, fresh bread and pastries fill your kitchen with delicious aromas, thanks to our breakfast delivery service in partnership with the bakery at the foot of the residence.

Travel light: pack only your clothes, toiletries, a good book, and a few groceries for occasional meals — or simply shop locally and enjoy dining out every day!

Off-Season residence stays (September, October, November…)

It’s not always easy to find mountain accommodation in autumn… Yet this stunning season has so much to offer!
We believe September, October, and November are among the most magical months of the year — golden larches, wild meadows with a steppe-like vibe, the first snowflakes… That’s why our residences in Tignes and La Rosière remain open even in the off-season.
